Take responsibility for Input sales for all forms of agricultural inputs - organic - with special focus dealers, distributors, farmers and FPOs.
2.Identify, evaluate and select dealers / distributors in the given geography.
3.Define Service Level Agreements/ Delivery terms and finalize agreements with the selected dealers/distributors.
4.Management of Dealers / distributors to ensure high levels of service delivery in line with the overall targets.
5.Evaluate & monitor distributor /dealer performance at regular intervals to address performance gaps effectively.
6.Ensure that issues raised by the distributors / dealers are addressed in a timely manner.
7.Monitor cash flows & over dues from dealers.
8.Achieve 100% sales against target for the given geographical territory.
9.Monitor Dealer wise, product wise, month wise sales plans. Build a capable and motivated team to create a high-performance team environment.
10.Brand Building Brand promotion, demand creation from dealers.
11.Would initiate sales promotion activities in the area to develop, implement and monitor sales and marketing strategies to achieve targeted market share and gross margin of the business.
12.Market development activities in assigned area.
13.Stay up-to-date with market and competitor movements, new product launches in the market.
14.Needs to be good at handling computer.
15.Familiarity with Agri apps will be an added advantage.
16.Strict guidelines on Collections to be established and followed.
17.Will also participate in farm extension work and guide farmers on farming techniques/input products and connect extensively with farming communities to nurture and sustain their livelihoods.
18.Mapping of Competitive activity in the area and imparting training to farmers on use of input products to enhance crop productivity are key roles.

Experience: Minimum 2 years for Sales officer and 5 years for Senior sales officer of Agri Input Sales is a mandatory.
Educational qualification: Diploma or B.Sc. in Agriculture/Horticulture / related streams is a must. M.Sc. candidates may also apply.
Languages: Tamil, English & Malayalam.
