Job Description

I. Academic Qualification & other requirements:

i). Ph.D in Agricultural Extension/ Agronomy with good experience in working with organic inputs & field knowledge on the application of biological products.

ii).Good knowledge and working experience in the field of (a) Bio-Bacteriocides, Bio-fungicides, Plant extracts, Botanicals and bio-fertilisers as agri-inputs and ii).Working experience in Product development operations (Agriculture).

II. Personal Requirements:

Age > 35 yrs with good communicative skills in English, Hindi &Tamil.

III. Technical Expertise: Promotion/Development of researched products (Agri-inputs).

Working knowledge in the field of Agricultural inputs & insight into the following aspects:

1. Recommend & demonstrate the proper use and application of Agri-inputs (organic fertilisers, biological products biostimulants) & collect data from the area of operations & provide information to the users on the practical usefulness & the advantages of the products to improve agriculture productivity & businesses.

2. Provide information on the latest developments/techniques to develop new products/methods related to agriculture and train marketing team/farmers on its effective use. Field evaluation of the bio-fungicidal/bio-pesticidal properties of the products developed at R&D. Planning/execution of experiments to confirm the efficacy of pipeline products in terms of the physiological and biochemical responses of the plant.

3. Provide consultation/guidance on the usage of Agri inputs & additional inputs to the farmers & develop the product use/research technology and account for all inputs delivered to all farmers within the operational area.

4. Consolidation of nutrient/agro climatic/cultural practices/other relevant requirements and field evaluation protocols for each crop relevant to the season (crop calendar) & conduct demo trials with various categories of products.

5. Provide tangible plans on the improvements of the formulations (existing & new) for enhanced performance in the field.

6. Compilation of the data collected from the field parameters/statistical analysis, and significant findings of the study.

7. Technical inputs for continuous improvement of the products & technical support should be rendered as & when needed at all sections of the R&D

Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

Salary: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
