Role Summary/Purpose:

As part of the GE India Multi-modal Manufacturing team, the Customer Quality Inspector is responsible for establishing an efficient and continually improving customer satisfaction as per AS9100D. This person will own developing and executing the in FAI/PPAP/APQP to address the key Quality deliverables in the project including analysis, Cost of Quality, Issue Resolution, and Fulfillment. This person also owns process for customer feedback and expectations on product’s quality.

Essential Responsibilities

• Work closely with fabrication teams of GE and will demonstrate accountability for the Quality objectives.
• work closely with Quality system and manufacturing team to study, analyze, take corrective and preventive actions on quality indicators.
• Ensure that the products meet quality requirements.
• Coordinate with Quality Managers to discuss and resolve product quality issues raised by customers.
• Update customers in a timely fashion regarding the status of quality issues or any requests.
• Participate in product quality planning and control process
