Job Description

Due to rapid expansion within the SMSF Division, the position of
Manager - SMSF has been created. This role will manage a high-quality portfolio of SMSFs and take the next step
in their career by managing a team.
Key attributes of our ideal candidate include:
Client Management Experience
Team Management Experience
Experience with BGL360, Class, Super Mate, or Xero
8-10 years experience within Australian SMSF
Stable Employment History
Exceptional SMSF Knowledge
Key responsibilities:
Reviewing the SMSF processed and prepared by the team members in BGL360, Class, Super Mate
Query Management
Communication with auditors, clients, and external parties
Training, development, and mentoring of junior team members as required.
Contributing to continuous improvement of systems and work practices
Attending external and internal training and professional development activities to continue to develop and maintain relevant skills
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges and experiences you will manage key clients and 10 staff members whilst working closely with one of the Directors.

Qualifications, knowledge & experience
Postgraduate (MBA/M.COM/CWA) in Commerce (Accounting) Finance
Excellent communication
Personable and able to develop strong relationships with clients and team members
Problem-solving skills and applying technical knowledge to varying client situations
Sounds technical knowledge of relevant and developing tax law
Reviewing compliance assignments of team member's staff
Working closely with Directors to provide exceptional client service
Competent/sound working knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel
Able to show ownership of your workflow
An attention to detail achiever
