Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Finalization of Corporate Tax Returns/ Wealth Tax Returns/ TDS Returns for all legal entities in India
- Tax advisory on various tax issues and well versed with Domestic law i.e. Income Tax Act and International taxation involving interpretation of tax treaties
- Working knowledge of other laws such as FEMA, Companies Act
- Independently handle assessment/reassessment proceedings including preparation of written submissions and representation before various income tax authorities
- Independently handle DRP and Appellate proceedings including drafting submissions, research and representation before DRP and Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals)
- Assist in Appellate proceedings before Income Tax Appellate Tribunal in drafting submissions, research and briefing counsels and representing the matter
- Act as a single point of contact, internally and externally, on all corporate tax matters.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (first attempt) and experience from Big 4 (EY, KPMG, PwC, Deloitte) is a must
