Job Description

What do we expect?

  • A Master´s degree in accounting / finance.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of General ledger accounting.
  • Experience in finance including Profit& loss analysis, Balance sheet overview, Tax Filing is a must.
  • Good Knowledge of GAAP.
  • Experience in FMCG.
  • Proficient in MS office (MS word, excel, PowerPoint, outlook) required.
  • Must be organized, detail oriented and able to work with little supervision.
  • Must be able to communicate well with others and work as a team.
  • Demonstrated consistency in professional ethics and values.
  • Accept company policies and procedures.
  • Analytical and logical thinking to deliver quick solutions.
  • Proficiency in English is a must.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Handling and managing day to day finances of the company.
  • Shall maintain book of accounts (using Zoho Books) accurately.
  • Follow-ups on day-to-day accounting, GL journal entries, bank reconciliation, AR (accounts receivable), AP (accounts payable).
  • Should be able to handle GST, TDS, Professional Tax, PF and other taxes filings of Monthly, Quarterly, Annual Returns after data reconciliation and the settlement of the same on timely basis.
  • Petty cash handling and book maintenance.
  • Timely salary disbursement.
  • Collect and analyse accounts information to reconcile financial discrepancies and communicating the results to management to develop appropriate budgets.
  • Preparation of balance sheet, P&L analyses, and statement to summarise current financial statement.
  • Monthly financial report preparation as per requirement, based on data from other departments.
  • Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
  • Developing financial procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Ensure accounting and financial compliance based on regulatory standards.
  • Optimization of accounting workflow by developing appropriate strategies.
  • Should be able to provide internal and external audit support.
  • Handling other duties as assigned.
