Job Description
We are looking for an innovative, results-oriented, and passionate Android Developer who will be responsible for implementing new features and resolving issues/bugs. The candidate will have close interaction with customers, customer support, QA, and other internal team members daily, so excellent communication skills are required. The ideal candidate will be an Android Developer with at least 2+ years of experience in the field. They will have a deep and clear understanding of the growing Android Development ecosystem tools and libraries, from Android Jetpack to Android Studio tooling. The candidate must be self-motivated, analytical, and proficient, as well as, be willing to think out of the box.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
• Deliver a high-quality level of code to customers
• Develop new features in accordance with the product roadmap
• Consult on client project goals (best practices, conversion, Usability, UI / UX)
• Exercise leadership in project architecture & code quality
• Keep constant synchronization with the iOS team to keep similar structures and architectures in place when possible
• Maintain projects with the latest Android changes and various SDK updates
• Resolve reported issues from customers, QA, and/or other team members
• Work closely with developers and designers
• Build and design advanced native Android applications on the Android platform
• Consult with clients in multiple industries such as retail, agriculture, education and financial services to name a few
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS :
• Excellent Java or Kotlin programming skills
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle
• Experience with Android MVVM architecture solutions
• Experience using the various AndroidX libraries
• Experience working with various Android media APIs for audio and video
• Knowledge of the different profiling and debugging tools provided by Android Studio
• Knack for simple and sophisticated solutions to problems
