ME or BE degree in Engineering or Science
Minimum 8-10 years of relevant professional experience
Experience with automotive ADAS and Autonomous Vehicle using NVIDIA Platform
(DriveOS and DriveWorks)
Experience with embedded HW and SW architecture and system design for automotive
ADAS
Experience in Autonomous any of the Vehicle stack such Perception, Planning,
Mapping and Control
Proficiency in C/C++, CUDA, TensorRT, DriveAV, Python, Docker
Experience in ROS based software development: Packages, Diagnosis and Tools
Good to have Knowledge of CANoe Vector tools, CARLA, LGSVL, Baidu Apollo, Matlab & Simulink,
dSpace, RViZ, Autosar, CAN, FlexRay
Familiarity with automotive SW development processes and standards like Automotive SPICE,
MISRA, ISO26262
Hands-on and willing to work independently
Apart from the roles and responsibilities mentioned by Naveen, below are some of the expectations from the candidate
- Evaluate various capabilities available in NVIDIA Drive AGX platform related to Autonomous
Vehicle stack
- Integrate sensors like Cameras, LiDAR, Radar to the Drive AGX platform
- Understand and integrate open source autonomous vehicle software to the drive AGX platform
- Setup actual vehicle for autonomous driving
- Integrate Drive AGX to the vehicle
- Implement different use cases like tele-operations, ADAS and AD features on the drive AGX platform.
We are looking for below skills from the candidate
- Looking for passionate individuals who are interested to work on self-driving cars and are more hands on, fast learners and ready for dynamic work.
- Has experience in using NVIDIA Platform (DriveOS, DriveWorks, Drive AV, Drive IX)
- Understands the detailed vehicle architecture and components of a self-driving car software stack
- Has implemented methods for static and dynamic object detection, localization and mapping, behaviour and motion planning, and vehicle control
- Would prefer a candidate who has already done a Self-Driving engineer course from Udacity,
Coursera etc.
- Understands vehicle IO like CAN bus or Flexray
- Has worked on simulation environment like Gazebo or Carla simulator
- Exposure to driver implementation for integrating different sensors, Matlab Simulink, docker containers
- A very strong foundation in applied linear algebra, transformations, matrices, sensor (Camera, LiDAR, GPS, Radar) processing, CNN and deep learning
- Very strong programming skills in C++, Python, ROS1 and ROS2
