Job Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Branch Head to lead our Mumbai branch. This role demands a strong leader with a background in logistics and proven sales expertise. As the Branch Head, you will be responsible for managing the overall operations, driving business growth, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the branch. Your role will focus on optimizing logistics processes, expanding the customer base, and achieving branch targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Branch Management:

• Lead, mentor, and manage the branch team to ensure high performance and operational excellence.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
• Implement company policies and strategies while adhering to corporate standards.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics for the branch.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and guidance to staff members.

Sales & Business Development:

• Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities in the logistics and supply chain sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed branch revenue targets.
• Oversee the preparation of proposals, quotations, and contracts for prospective clients.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients to ensure profitability while maintaining competitive offerings.
• Analyze market trends and customer needs to ensure the branch stays ahead of the competition.

Operations Management:

• Ensure the efficient execution of logistics processes, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
• Collaborate with operations teams to streamline procedures, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and safety standards.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business.

Team Building & Development:

• Foster a positive work environment that encourages team collaboration, innovation, and growth.
• Identify training and development needs for the team and implement effective training programs.
• Encourage and lead by example to create a motivated, goal-driven team.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Sales Expertise: Proven track record in sales, business development, and customer relationship management within the logistics industry.
• Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop teams.
• Logistics Knowledge: Deep understanding of logistics, transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations.
