Experience : 10 to 15 year

Job Description :

• Build an energy trading desk, which will focus on signing up on short and long – term supply contracts to customers.
• Advise in selectively building, offsite and onsite capacities for meeting customer supply obligations.
• Ensure supply side contracts, are also signed for such contracts, if they are not being developed inhouse.
• Prepare and participate in various government and private tenders for conventional and renewable power supply-contracts.
• Build a comprehensive power trading and power supply strategy for the firm’s potential foray into EV charging hubs.
• Implement and analyze the renewable energy scale up and supply strategy for large multinational and Indian companies.
• Understand and advise the firm on new regulations related to open access, power exchange/ trade and renewable energy in general.
• Liaising with utilities, statutory bodies for obtaining necessary approvals / licenses etc. for all contracts and power trading business in general.
• Ensure order fulfilment at the best margins to the firm.
• Mitigate trading risk by taking pre-defined positions on supply contracts. o Build and lead a team for this vertical.
