Job Description

What will you do:

• As a Data Scientist, you'll be joining\r\n a cross-functional team of other Data Scientists and Data Engineers. \r\nYou will be focussing on deriving and delivering insights that generate \r\nreal impact on business performance.
• At Coda, you will be \r\nworking with datasets of hundreds of millions of transactions processed \r\nacross hundreds of different payment channels, such as e-wallets, credit\r\n cards, direct carrier billing and over the counter by gamers and \r\ndigital content consumers in more than 45 countries around the world.
• You\r\n will be working closely with the Marketing, Product, Risk, Finance and \r\nBusiness Development teams to apply statistical modeling and machine \r\nlearning algorithms to identify patterns from complex datasets with \r\nbillions of records.

What we expect from you:

• We\r\n are keen to talk to you if you are a recent graduate or an experienced \r\nprofessional, and if you have a Master or PhD degree in Computer \r\nScience, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics or Economics. Along with your \r\nstrong experience in the industry or in academia we would like to see as\r\n many of the following as possible in your resume:
• Expertise in machine learning and statistical modeling
• Experience working with advanced algorithms and/or advanced analytical problem solving
• Hands on experience in coding with Python
• Hands on experience with SQL
• Experience conducting independent research to deconstruct analytical problems and identify solutions
• Preferably, prior experience in working with cross-functional teams
• Preferably, experience with NLP
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Collaborative, curious and team-oriented mindset
• We will expect experienced professionals to be proficient in most of the above-mentioned requirements.
