Job Description
• ability to install and database servers, storage devices, backup tape and disk backup systems and other support systems as needed to support database capacity, performance or product functionality requirements.
• experience in troubleshooting and diagnostic methodologies in order to understand and eliminate performance degradation and functional related issues
• experience performing database administration of Oracle database, including 10g,11g, RAC and RMAN on Linux or Unix
• Experience implementing and supporting a production multi-tenant architecture
• Extensive technical skills with two of the following; Oracle, MSSQL, MySql
• Experience maintaining and operating 24×7 Application Service Provider / Software as a Service infrastructure delivering web-based applications
• Demonstrated ability to deal directly with external customers in a friendly, supportive manner to troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues regarding NICE hosted performance, security, availability, and reliability
• Ability to provide excellent and ongoing support to other NICE business teams as needed to solve customer and product issues in a timely manner.
• Ability to act as part of NICE Cloud Services Operations team, continuously sharing information and assisting on tasks with other team members
