Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Vertical Machining Center Operator to join our precision moldmaking shop team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in setting up, operating, and programming CNC machines, specifically vertical machining centers. The operator will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed to the highest quality standards and within the required timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
    ● Set up, operate, and program CNC Vertical Machining Centers to produce high-quality molds, dies, and parts.
    ● Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and precision.
    ● Select appropriate tools, speeds, and feeds for each job based on material type and part geometry.
    ● Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
    ● Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines, tools, or programs to ensure minimal downtime.
    ● Collaborate with other team members to identify and implement process improvements.
    ● Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
    ● Completion of a CNC operator training program or equivalent work experience.
    ● At least 2 years of experience operating CNC vertical machining centers in a precision manufacturing environment.
    ● Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
    ● Experience with programming and editing CNC programs using G-code and CAM software.
    ● Proficiency in using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
    ● Knowledge of machining principles and practices.
    ● Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
