Job in Mumbai City for Compliance Officer

Job Description

Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced Senior Tax Executives to lead and manage multiple operations of the tax compliance area and to deliver quality tax services that will increase group’s overall Tax compliances. You will serve as compliance resource to our group companies aiming at maximizing engagement and achieving qualitative compliance outcomes which is as under.

• Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe
• Build relationships and interact with accounts person of group companies to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertise
• Provide innovative tax planning and review complex income tax returns, GST Filings and other Domestic or International Tax matters
• Identify and mitigate tax risks.
• Manage tax provision and tax compliance process
• Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices
• Manage and coordinate tax audits (Direct/Indirect)
• Coordinating with the advisors and officials of Tax department for any of the requirements and information
• Maintain and monitor tax balances on general ledger
• Prepare all tax papers, reply to notices and submission on regular basis and handle all information data requests.

Technical Skills

Candidate should have below technical skills in following area:

• Proven work experience as a Tax Executive
• Good and effective communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns and other compliance related requirements
• Knowledge of tax software and MS Office with Advance excel knowledge
• Strong leadership and personnel management skills, Analytical skills with detail orientation
