Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent typing skills with a speed of 35+ words per minute (WPM) and a keen eye for accuracy. This role involves entering and updating data into our databases and maintaining accurate records of valuable company information.
Key Responsibilities:
Enter and update data accurately in our databases and systems.
Verify data by comparing it to source documents.
Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as
requested.
Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.
Generate reports and prepare data for analysis.
Ensure data integrity and maintain confidentiality of
sensitive information.
Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding
data discrepancies or issues.
Follow company procedures and protocols to ensure data
accuracy and consistency.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Data Entry Operator or similar role.
Excellent typing speed and accuracy (35+ WPM required).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and
data entry software.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive
information.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in
a team environment.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer
training or certification is a plus.
