- Function/Department : Account Manager, CHEP India Position Title & Location : Associate Mgr. Customer Development, Bangalore. Position Purpose : Associate Mgr. Customer Development will be based in a major city in the North/ West / South of India, servicing the India market. Major/Key Accountabilities : The key responsibilities are:
- Retaining and growing business at major FMCG emitters, distributors, Automotive and Pallecon customer
- the successful management of pilots or trials at customers
- the monitoring of market information to alert CHEP to opportunity and competitive threat
- the delivery & implementation of effective communications and presentations to the Indian market to promote CHEP managed re-useable and returnable supply chain packaging solutions
- Responsible for the development and execution of special pooling equipment projects within local customer programs.
- Development and management of detailed project plans which incorporates cross functional tasks and resources.
- exploring solutions for existing and new customers
- Designing solutions for pallet flows and Automotive Business
- Authority/ Decision Making :
- Representing CHEP at seminars and industry functions to promote CHEP solutions
- Resolving CHEP issues at own key account
- – Assessing and understanding the relevant markets/segments; and converting the knowledge to viable business plans Qualifications : Education: Degree in Sales, Marketing or business Management Experience :
- 4 – 5 yrs. in sales and marketing, with a preference for Supply Chain industry experience
- Achieved sales growth at major customers
- Experience in a pioneering business
- Skills and Knowledge : Must be Analytical, excellent listener, attention to detail, relationship builder, team player, excellent communicator, versatile Should have knowledge of M/soft Office programs (M) Seibel and SAP (M)
Preferred Education Bachelors – Business Administration/Management
