Your Role And Responsibilities

• The Security Delivery Specialist assumes all of the responsibilities stated in the Security Delivery Specialist job description. The Security Delivery Specialist either accepts those responsibilities directly when no Security Delivery Specialist (Associate) is assigned or they accept functional responsibility over a Security Delivery Specialist (Associate) when one is assigned and they accept the role of work allocation, training, coaching and oversight over the Security Delivery Specialist (Associate) .
• It is the Security Delivery Specialist’s overall objective to:
• Assist the Delivery Project Executive (DPE) in achieving and maintaining compliance to the Client Security Policy and ensuring that all contractual security requirements are met.
• Provide client interfacing management for contracted security services and account security management
  
  

In addition to the Security Delivery Specialist (Associate) job description responsibilities, the Security Delivery Specialist must;

• Support the DPE to ensure that the account Risk register is maintained and up-to-date at all times.
• Provide guidance to the Account team and Account Compliance Specialist to ensure that identified security issues are documented and tracked in CIRATS and resolved in alignment with Kyndryl Issue Management Processes.
• Use identified security risks to interact with account solution architect & engagement team to propose opportunities for Request for Services (RFS).
• Participate in CTRaC Client Threat and Risk Management Process as required, and chair/minute Periodic Threat Summary Status Reviews with the Client, either quarterly or as contractually required.
• Review of Security Policies, Procedures and Practices. Evaluation of current security processes in relation to ISO standards, industry best practices and business objectives.
• Review of Technical Security Controls and Mechanisms. Review of the effectiveness of existing security practices and mechanisms to recognise needed improvements.
• Lead Security Strategy Workshops to provide a security plan that details remediation efforts and strategy.
• Assist DPE to ensure compliance to Security Policy.
• Provide Subject Matter Expertise during reviews of Client requests and deviations/exceptions to update/modify the Security Policy and determine required changes to services, contract language and Security Policy (including the identification of new services).
• Act as SME during client meetings and provide consultative security expertise to support the client in making and recommending key decisions in the area of security.
• Responsible for client discussions and risk statements related to deviations from Security Policy, and storage of artefacts communicating risk.
  
  

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Assist in Client requested Security Policy changes to prevent security attacks. Work with CTRaC Manager, Security Delivery Specialist, to coach and mentor account Specialists and Associates. Provide them with feedback and opportunities to develop their expertise. Rotate different security functions for growth and redundancy purposes.
• In the absence of a Client Security Operations Manager, provide a single point of accountability for all internal and client audit activity being the delivery audit advocate between Kyndryl delivery teams, the customer, Kyndryl third parties, internal and external auditors and certification providers.
• guidance to the Kyndryl business in relation to audit process and management. Manage Corporate Audit and BCR War Room when required.
• Maintains an awareness presentation on the audit/review process and provides process education to the delivery teams in the “Pre-Audit” phase. Attend periodic status call with Independent Third Party Reviewer (e.g. PwC) and interlock with these parties on Point-in-time tests, field work schedule and report timing.
  
  

Works with delivery teams to ensure that all audit activities are managed within process.

Reviews and approves all delivery audit responses prior to their provision to auditors.

Manages client, Kyndryl third party and auditor expectations.

Tracks and manages all client audit activity over the year, developing a portfolio view of all activities to aid forecasting of costs and pipeline demand.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• Identifies systemic issues and works with Compliance Specialist to drive compliance programs and overall remediation.
• Shares potential audit exposures, instances of non-compliance and lessons learnt across account portfolio to ensure continuous improvement in audit scope.
• Approves closure of Control Issue records including validation of closure artifacts. Prepares and presents audit related material e.g. annual presentation deck for Global Steering Committee for External Service Organisation Controls (SOC) Reviews.
• Follows the Issue and Risk Management Process to remediate any audit findings.50. During audits, collect issues (both known/unknown to auditors) and drive mitigation efforts. Work with Compliance Specialist to ensure optimal mitigation is prepared and delivered to the audit team.
  
  

Develop audit communication, Executive Status and Reporting, including weekly status reporting to the Compliance Specialist and DPE/s.
