Principal Responsibilities and Duties

IBM Planning Analytics Development:

• Model, design, and create IBM TM1 Cubes from OLTP sources into OLAP cubes
• Develop overall data flow and reporting model in Perspective, Architect, Performance Modeler, PAW and PAX
• Analyze and translate business requirements to functional specifications and provide recommendations and the right solution design
• Integrate various relational database platforms in design and development of ETL processes and relational databases into reporting cubes
• Analyze data across data sources to support requirements, identify integration and security requirements and support building the data architecture for the project
• Responsible for reviewing the new releases and upgrades relating to TM1/PAW/PAX and coordinate with IBM and internal team to push the new releases.
• Maintenance of relevant databases, creation of central repositories for new report
• Assist in the creation of best practices documents related to key business management practices

Team Co-ordination:

• Participate in daily stand-up calls and Agile Sprints
• Identify roadblocks for the squad and co-ordinate resolution
• Identify control points for critical deliverable

Minimum Requirements: (Knowledge, skills, and abilities to qualify for position)

• 5+ years of IBM TM1 work experience in developing end-to-end analytics solutions, including system configuration, model building, data security, and reporting
• Well versed with TM1 REST API, and capabilities of the TM1 application product
• Bachelors Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
• Expertise in Data Marts and Data Warehousing concepts
• Demonstrate an attention to detail, accuracy and quality control. Provide guidance to junior Analysts and Associates in the team
• Good written and spoken communication skills; the role requires interaction with regional counterparts
• Good inter-personal skills are required combined with an inquisitive and controls/process orientated attitude
• Ability to multitask responsibilities while cognizant of deadlines
