Summary

The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Reporting Analyst will craft and implement analytics-driven solutions in and outside of the function to support the most pressing DEI priorities. Our DEI Analyst is responsible for the coordinating, assimilating, and reporting of DEI initiatives throughout the organization. He/She will use and develop queries and reports from HRIS systems and appropriate reporting tools to analyze data using descriptive means, percentages, and inferential statistics, including appropriate modeling techniques. Create, analyze, and administer surveys using appropriate survey design, survey sampling methodologies, and analyze survey data using statistical techniques. Collect and analyze data and report on findings with respect to triggers and barriers to equal employment opportunities and an inclusive workplace

This role is responsible for extracting and delivering the output of analyses into meaningful insights that enable the organization to improve its DEI practice and decision-making strategies. Key to success in this position is to serve as a strategic partner and consultant to leadership within HR, Operations and across senior & executive leadership.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Identify and track metrics to demonstrate success and provide monthly/quarterly/annual reporting.
  • Gathers reporting requirements provided and writes/ tests reports in Workday
  • Provide strong analytical and reporting support for the DEI function to help identify opportunities to impact business results, change processes and support strategic initiatives
  • Design, document, implement and maintain an ongoing measurement strategy for DEI – defining metrics, dimensions, data sources, targets and tactics
  • Ability to craft, implement and analyze survey data, including delivery of measurable insights from the survey results.
  • Support the development of report and analytics training for executive and functional leaders
  • Use data and analysis methodologies to address business questions or problems and uncover insights that support foundation leaders in making strategic, data-driven decisions.
  • Provide data, analysis and reporting (data visualization) deliverables in support of DEI programs, policies or initiatives. Present resulting analysis, context and key insights to senior leaders.
  • Draft executive summaries for presentation to senior & executive leadership.
  • Aggregate data from various sources, manipulate and analyze them at scale, support strategic and tactical initiatives
  • Extract and transform data and join datasets from different sources (Salesforce, MSSQL Server, S3, Google Analytics, etc.) and with different formats (xlsx, csv, .json, etc)
  • Process, cleanse, and verify data-integrity for analysis. Analyze data for errors and inconsistencies
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets, comprising of both structured and unstructured data, using statistical techniques and advanced analytics

Qualifications

  • Extensive Workday system experience preferred
  • Experience developing reports and analytics
  • Ability to analyze and assess data/reports, and then consolidate data into meaningful reports/presentations
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment that requires quick turnaround and quality output
  • Strong MS Office skills required in Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
  • Ability to draft, read and interpret documents such as instructions, memos and statistical reports.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as wages, percentages and turnover.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic statistics.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to compare data from various sources and conduct tests to ensure data is accurate.

Proficiency in a variety of analytical platforms, software languages and statistical tools, including:

  • Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Data warehouse and management tools (Azure, SQL, AWS, Redshift)
  • Data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Data preparation and manipulation tools (Alteryx, Python, Databricks)
  • Multivariate statistical platforms and/or languages (R, SAS, Stata, SPSS)
  • WorkDay
  • Power BI Platform
  • People Soft

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics or Computer Science preferred
  • 3-5 years of related experience; or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
