Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

• Install, configure and upgrade Databases like Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL server software and related products in a Windows environment.
• Design, create, maintain of Microsoft SQL Server databases in a Windows environment.
• Performance monitoring of MS-SQL Databases and procedures.
• Control and monitor user access to databases and maintain database security.
• Provide reliable, recoverable and scalable database computing environments to store and integrate company data.
• Responsible for support of production and non-production databases.
• This position requires the candidate to work in 24x7 rotational shift supporting global operations.
• You must have database experience working in a Sun Solaris or LINUX and Windows environment.
• Enterprise production DBA experience working in a mid to large d company required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Expert skills in MS-SQL database backup and recovery.
• Extensive experience with MS-SQL Server 2016/2017 databases Experience implementation and maintenance of highly available, scalable MS-SQL database solutions oExtensive experience in SQL tuning and MS-SQL database performance tuning.
• Experience utilizing MS-SQL Server Management Studio for monitoring and management .Strong UNIX shell scripting experience. oExcellent communication, customer service and people skills.
• This role requires the selected person to work in shifts in a 24X7 production environment.

Minimum Qualification:

• Bachelors degree and 3+ years IT-relevant work experience OR 5+ years IT-relevant work experience with a bachelors degree.
