Roles and Responsibilities
Shims DeveloperCore Job Responsibilities:
• To develop, deploy, troubleshoot, and secure the serverless applications on Serverless.com and to develop plugins. Write JavaScript code to fork the existing code to talk to the equivalent service in GCP.
Key Qualifications
• Sound knowledge in JavaScript
• Should have the knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks (React or Angular / Vue)
• Experience with GCP / Azure
• Write, modify, and debug web applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Design, code, and manage automated test scripts, continuous builds, and deployment.
• Self-document development processes, conduct peer reviews, and give actionable feedback
• Hands on Working experience to one / more of the following Cloud platforms: e.g. Azure, GCP, AWS etc.
• Strong JavaScript software development skill.
• Good understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS etc.
• Familiarity with front-end build tools.
• Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance.
• Experience with Typescript
• Knowledge of functional programming. Understanding of how to build performant, decoupled, testable, maintainable code
• Working experience with Git, Docker, node package manager (NPM), Yarn, Webpack, Gulp/Grunt/scripting
• Experience with full stack JavaScript Frameworks and Tools - AngularJS, ReactJS, NodeJS, Vue.
• Experience with test automation frameworks - Karma, Jasmine, Cucumber, Selenium
• Experience in designing, developing on and managing Development Platforms hosted on Public Cloud
Desired Candidate Profile
- Serverless.com Plugins (work on GCP plugin)
- JavaScript forking of existing code to talk to the equivalent service in GCP
