We are looking for a software engineer to understand data platforms and APIs and find the most efficient way to absorb their data into our database.

• Deploy and maintain critical applications on cloud-native architectures
• Implement automation, effective monitoring and work towards infrastructure-as code
• Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across various environments
• Support and work alongside a cross-functional engineering team on the latest technologies
• Iterate on best practices to increase the quality & velocity of deployments
• Sustain and improve the process of knowledge sharing throughout the engineering team
• Version Control System - SVN, GIT preferred
• CI Tools - Jenkins (end-to-end automation pipeline creation), Azure Devops, AWS code series or any other equivalent tools
• Build Tools - Maven, Ant, npm
• Scripting - Shell, Powershell, Python, Groovy (Jenkins Pipeline Scripting)
• Cloud - AWS, Azure or GCP (Certified Cloud Expert)
• Containerization - Docker, Kubernetes
• Infrastructure as Code - Terraform, Cloudformation
• Code Quality tool - Sonarqube
• Ticketing Tools - JIRA
• Configuration Management - Ansible or any equivalent tools
• Artifact store - Nexus, Artifactory
• Experienced in administering Linux and Windows server environments

• Experience maintaining and deploying highly-available, fault-tolerant systems at scale
• Practical experience with Docker containerization and clustering (Kubernetes/ECS)
• Expertise with AWS/Azure/GCP
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge in MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL (Preferably DynamoDB or CosmosDB), Git, Jenkins/TravisCi/Gitlab, etc.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform, Cloudformation)
• Effective communication skills
• Take accountability for the uptime and reliability
• Write better code and deploy more reliable services
• Continuously improving the effectiveness of engineering and DevOps processes
