Group/Division

The vision of KLA’s global human resources organization is to become a leader and partner to operating leadership in support of the company’s efforts to achieve its strategic growth, customer and operating objectives through strategic talent management. Our mission is to enable the business, and leverage human resources to achieve short and long-term business objectives. Our primary areas of strategic focus include talent acquisition, individual and organizational assessment and development, performance management, inclusion and engagement, and rewards. The global HR organization includes HR business partners, learning and development, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee communications, and HR system operations.

The United States (US) Talent Acquisition sourcing team is based out of KLA India in Chennai and is responsible for all sourcing activities from candidate generation to screening of potential candidates in support of the US Talent Acquisition recruiting team. The team supports global sourcing efforts as needs require. The Sourcing team is an essential part in driving the hiring of KLA’s talent.

Specific Responsibilities Include

The Executive, Human Resources (Sourcer) is responsible driving the overall generation of candidates for positions in the US and globally as needed.

  • Generate target lists of companies or organizations to research
  • Based on developed research, identify and engage targeted candidates for open positions
  • Develop appropriate search strings to be used in the search process
  • Review resumes for appropriate skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements
  • Conduct initial communications via email and phone interviews to engage and qualify candidates
  • Work with Recruiters to understand search requirements and strategy
  • Manage all communications with potential candidates to ensure a great experience
  • Use internet tools including internet research, job boards, niche sites, and social media to identify people
  • Make phone calls into target companies to generate prospective candidates
  • Conduct publication and patent searches for prospective candidates

Desired Qualifications

  • Strongly prefer previous experience recruiting for engineers in the semiconductor capital equipment industry.
  • Demonstrated success generating candidates through internet, cold calling, social media, and direct sourcing methods
  • Experience staffing in a fast paced, high-demand environment that focuses on results
  • Strong understanding of full life-cycle recruiting
  • Knowledge of current technical markets, trends and competitors is essential
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to persuade and influence individuals while driving for results
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of the internet, cold calls and internet searches
  • Demonstrated initiative
  • Ability to analyze data and recommend search strategy
  • Ability to read, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and database research
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to make decisions
  • Ability to use research to formulating talent search strategies
  • Knowledge of regulations for the US market
  • Knowledge of technical recruitment
  • Knowledge of Human Resources policies and procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and understand new technologies quickly

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master level degree with 0 years work experience or Bachelor level degree with 2 years related work experience or equivalent work experience. Prefer degree in HR or related field
  • Must demonstrate strong team orientation, customer focus, passion for recruiting, and the ability to thrive in a high-demand, results-oriented culture
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work volume to meet client demands
  • Ability to change directions quickly and to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent MS office Skills
  • Ability to work swing shift to accommodate interaction with US team
  • Strong English verbal and written language skills

Minimum Qualifications

Master Level Degree with 0 years work experience , Bachelor Level Degree with 2 years work experience or equivalent work experience
