Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Development of firmware in ANSI-C
• Definition of test and validation environments.
• Definition and writing of SW and Firmware specifications.
• Design functional modules according to requirements/specification.
• Firmware and Application Software for NFC readers Product families.
• Unit testing and Debugging.
• Close interaction with Hardware Development team.
• Participation in code review, technical reviews and ensure the quality of deliverables.

Education, Experience & Skill:

• Master's/Bachelor's Degree in Electronics/Computer Science engineering with 8 to 12 years of experience.
• Must have experience in low level firmware programming embedded systems / low level Drivers such as boot loaders, SPI drivers, UART drivers, RF, embedded RTOS, etc.
• Excellent C programming skills, exposure to assembly, scripting languages as Perl etc. will be an advantage.
• Embedded SW design/development (8,16,32 bit platforms, preferably ARM architecture)
• Experience in using Debuggers.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, debugging skills & interpretation skills
• Exposure to change management / configuration management, bug tracking tools
• Self-motivated, good verbal and written communication.
• Self driven and proactive.

Preferred:

• Working experience in Identification / RF domain
• Know-how of smart card Contact less Proximity Standards such as ISO14443, ISO15693, ISO18092.
• Near Field Communication Standards.
• Willing to travel to Europe on need basis
