1. Prepare department Key Result Area (KRA) and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) in accordance with the strategic goal.
2. Ensure that staffing requirements of the organization are fulfilled on time.
3. Prepare HR budget in coordination with Finance Head and present it before Top Management every financial year.
4. Ensure the preparation and updating of Organization Chart, Job Description, Skills & Competency Matrix for all designations.
5. Ensure that department expenses are within the budget.
6. Develop and maintain the performance management system in the organization.
7. Develop and maintain the policy, procedure, and formats in the organization.
8. Conduct a review of department activities based on KRA and KPI.
9. Verify the content prepared for recruitment advertisement and approve the same after making necessary corrections.
10. Identify the manpower requirement with department heads fulfill within the time frame.
11. Coordinate and develop the relationship between external contracting agencies and recruitment agencies when needed.
12. Ensure that background details of shortlisted candidates are verified before sending them an offer letter.
13. Ensure the timely completion of joining formalities, including transfer of company assets and induction training.
14. Verify the punching report and take action against those employees who are violating the attendance and leave policy of the organization.
15. Ensure that probation evaluation is conducted by the end of the probation period and performance appraisal of all employees is conducted once a year.
16. Verify and approve confirmation letter, promotion letter, letter intimating the salary hike, and termination letter after employee evaluation.
17. Initiate employee welfare activities in the organization.
18. Handle employee grievances and settle the issue without affecting the workflow of the organization.
19. Issue memos, warning letters etc to those employees who violate organizational policies.
20. Ensure that training needs are identified and fulfilled with the budget allocated.
21. Ensure that exit interviews of resigning employees are recorded and the reason for resignation is identified and also ensure that any issues raised by the employee are not repeated in the future.
22. Verify the holiday list of the organization and ensure timely issue of the list among employees.
23. Conduct one to one interaction with all employees of the organization once in 6 months.
24. Participate in amendment of department manuals in coordination with Top Management.
