Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities of HR Assistants

· To maintain employee records, including names, addresses, job titles, pay, and benefits. They keep these records up to date and create reports for managers.

· To help with the recruitment process by identifying job vacancies, creating job descriptions, and posting them. They also assist with scheduling interviews and screening resumes.

· To plan and implement new employee meetings and orientation. They answer employee questions about HR regulations and benefits.

· To help employees enroll in benefits and answer benefits-related questions. They ensure compliance with benefits regulations.

· To check employee attendance and monitor leaves, tardiness, and absence.

· To assist in resolving employee conflicts.

· To coordinate employee recognition activities.

· To schedule training sessions and maintain employee training records.

· To produce and distribute HR documentation.

· To handle grievances and complaints.

· To act as a point of contact with public services.

· To assist in making HR policies and procedures

· To assist in Payroll and benefits administration

· To assist Employee data management and reporting

· To update employee handbooks

· To assists in Schedule training sessions

· To maintain employee training records

· To assist in the logistics of training programs

· To post job ads and vacancies on job boards and social media

· To screen resumes and job applications

· To schedule and coordinate job interviews

· To assist in background and reference checks

· To assist in preparing job offer letters

· To support in preparing and managing employee actions and other official documents related to performance improvement, reassignment, suspension, resignation, retirement, and employee exits.

· To send separation notices to employees who are due for mandatory retirement

· To assist in providing departing employees with check-out documents

· To help in conducting exit interviews or termination meetings as required
