About The Job

  • As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will be responsible for solving organizational challenges through people-related solutions.
  • You'll partner with members across the organization to design and execute strategies for how we onboard, develop, motivate, and retain.
  • You'll also have the opportunity to collaborate internally on a variety of people-related areas. In this role, you will roll out programs to support Aces, including rewards and recognition, performance, and talent management programs.
  • You'll play an essential role in advancing a more diverse, accessible, equitable, and inclusive Pocket Aces through our hiring, management, retention, and inclusion practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct induction program ensuring new joinees are well settled and are well aware of the policies, systems and procedures, etc
  • Design implement customized engagement initiatives which are team and issue specific
  • Provide expertise in the following areas: performance management, career planning, recognition programs, succession planning, and curbing unwanted attrition
  • Identify training needs through surveys and meetings with the membership as well as the various business leaders. Design and deliver training sessions and seek external subject matter experts when necessary.
  • Address member grievances and matters related to productivity and escalate disciplinary matters, as well as, matters related to non-adherence to policies to the business leaders
  • Carry out exit interviews and oversee full final process and ensure proper completion and documentation of the exit formalities

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of HR business partner or generalist experience supporting leaders in the media industry
  • HR experience in employee relations, culture keeper, performance management, recognition programs, coaching/development, succession planning, and data analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Specialization in Human Resources
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with the membership and a variety of stakeholders to drive organizational change
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to analyze data, understand trends and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis.
  • Strong Google Suite skills, specifically strong working knowledge of Google Sheets (formulas, lookups, pivots) and Google Slides
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
  • Emotional and intellectual maturity
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
