Job Description
Minimum 3 years exp Pentaho, DWH, ETL, Data Model, RDBMS Systems, Oracle, Hadoop. As a data integration engineer you are responsible for the design, development, maintenance and documentation of our new Pentaho data integration (ETL) engine. You specialize in data modeling and you are passionate about data warehouses, writing data flows, converting business requirements into schemes, etc. You will be responsible Capture and understand the end-user needs. Architect, supervise and design the technical setup of the ETL process. Improve the design by identifying the need from the data model changes. Continuously maintain and enlarge your professional and technical skills through self-learning and training sessions. Develop proof-of-concept, estimate workloads to support the commercial process. Act as a bridge between the raw data and the business. Assisting the BI analyst on technical questions and assessing his proposals, estimate feasibility and complexity. Ensuring systems meet business requirements. Mapping the data from the different source systems, make the data available for the information flow (API). Provide design that meets the business requirement. Creating tests and assure quality of the data. Documenting the central repository (as build). Offering support during the investigation and solving of incidents and problems. Thinking along constructively about the improvement of data flows and processes.
