Connectivity & Security business line offers solutions for secure mobility and retail, secure payment and identity, secure ranging, IoT security, NFC infrastructure and secure embedded transactions.
Position Overview:
This position is responsible for managing the system test engineering organization working on system integration and validation of embedded NFC / UWB / Secure Element solutions across all mobile platforms.
Job Description:
- Provide strong leadership to the test engineering teams within the scope
- Guide and mentor managers to build high performing team
- Help the team develop test plans for wireless software/system
- Drive test automation development and adoption across multiple test teams
- Analyze test reports and provide quality assessment to stakeholders
- Act as the quality gatekeeper for releases to customers
- Interface with various internal stakeholders, external test agencies and customers
- Participation in technical reviews and product evaluation to make better solutions
Job Qualifications:
- Experience in testing and QA for high volume wireless IC's is required including extensive test automation development experience.
- At least 15 years of embedded SW experience and 5+ years of test engineering management experience required.
- Candidate must have strong leadership, technical & communication skills.
- Experience in launching high volume products into production is required.
- B.Tech/BE in Computer Science/Electronics Engg. is required and M.Tech/ME Degree preferred.
- Experience with programming languages like C/C++, Java, Perl, Python, etc.
- Exposure to wireless or wired protocol layers, preferably on 802.15.x based protocols or wireless protocol stacks / layers
- Experience with low level firmware programming for embedded systems / low level Driverswould be a differentiator
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, debugging & interpretation skills
