● Installing and configuring hardware and software systems
● Maintaining and repairing hardware and software systems
● Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
● Providing technical support to users
● Managing and monitoring network systems
● Ensuring security of network and data systems
● Maintaining documentation of hardware and software configurations
● Managing IT assets inventory
● Researching new technologies and proposing recommendations for improvement
● Conducting regular maintenance on IT equipment and systems
● In order to meet the computing needs of the end-users, work in close coordination with the application programmers to solve mainframe problems.
● Also, undertake the responsibility of writing scripts and batching files for enhancing the functioning of the operating system.
