Job Description
Role & Responsibilities
Infrastructure Project manager is responsible for delivery of IT Infrastructure elements of business projects.
Responsibilities include:
. Manages the delivery of large integrated solutions involving multiple stake holders
. Does coordination with cross infrastructure work streams and business
. Determines overall project plan, budget, structure, schedule, and staffing requirements for complex integrated IT Infrastructure Solutions.
. Manage agreed scope of project & ensure project meet the quality requirements.
. Leads the design/ delivery of multi-national/ multi-partner projects.
. Is the key technical contributor for project management methodology and tools.
. Solves complex, high impact project design, coordination problems
. Coordinate with teams on-site and offshore in different time zones
. Coordinate with third party vendors for deliveries and installs
Required Candidate Profile
(Job Requirements/Descriptions)
Experience ( Essential )
. Engineering Degree with 10 + years in IT
. 2+ Years of IT Infrastructure - System Integration Project Management experience
. Ability to develop and monitor project schedules and timelines to identify and meet critical milestones
. Prior experience of leading Transformation Project involving DC Migration or Cloud Migration
. Should have experience in DC Build and Migration
. Ability to deliver the project on the budgeted cost and track the budget
. Ability to create the project documents as necessary to detail.
. Ability to build project schedule in MS Project
. Proficient in Project management tools & processes
. Commercial orientation
. Process orientation
. Good and effective written and oral communication
. Good people management skill
Experience ( Preferred)
. Experience of working in International business environment
. Should have basic knowledge of cloud computing delivery and Tools deployment for service management
Knowledge Must have:
. Proficient in Project management tools & processes
. IT Infrastructure domain knowledge is a must.
. Should have basic knowledge of EUTS Desktop Virtualization, Network, Backup, Storage and Compute cloud computing delivery and Tools deployment for service management.
. Candidate should understand latest Technologies in IT Infrastructure space - Cloud technologies
. Sound knowledge of IT Infrastructure projects (Implementation, Migration etc.) Delivery Framework & processes.
. ITIL Awareness - Good understanding of Change Management, Incident Management, MIM & other ITIL process.
Preferred:
. Good understanding of both Waterfall & Agile methodology of projects delivery.
. PMP/PRINCE 2 certification
. Experience in project delivery with Agile Methodology.
