Job Description
EDI Mapper Profile
- Job responsibilities
- In an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) environment, work on the development of new EDI translations (EDI Mapping) and application interfaces for various DXC customers.
- Software environment
- PC literate, including MS Office Applications
- Unix/Linux
- OpenText Application Integrator Mapping Software
- Any other EDI mapping software is a plus e.g. Sterling Integrator, Seeburger BIS, Boomi
- High-Level Job Skills
- Detailed Knowledge of EDI translations software and mapping of transactions
- Familiar with EDI standards, including EDIFACT, X.12, Odette, VDA, XML,
- Analyze, develop, and unit test EDI maps to support DXC client requirements
- Codes and constructs translation software components as required
- Reviews and validates translation application requirements
- Review, develop, and maintain translation specifications design documents, system and user documentation (as required)
- Conducts or supports system/integration testing
- Provides second and third level support for mapping and production application issues
- Understand clients trading partner community (communication, set-up, etc.).
- Create and maintain trading partner maintenance documentation
- Team Player
