Job in Bengaluru, Bangalore for IT System Administrator

• User administration (setup and maintaining accounts on O365)
  
• Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues our users encounter
  
• Maintaining systems (Install software and patches)
  
• Work with team to coordinate and synchronise new in-house and third party software,
  
• Monitor network communication
  
• Day to day running and administration of Linux and Windows servers.
  

• Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns
  
• Create and verify backups of data. Run periodic restoration tests.
  
• Respond to and resolve help desk requests.
  
• Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution
  
• Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection software and other processes
  
• Review application logs
  
• Install and test computer-related equipment

Requirements

Must have:

3+ years experience in system administration (Windows & Linux systems)

§ Associate or higher degree in a related field

§ Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management

§ Extensive experience with Cloud Infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP)

§ Ability to respond to help desk requests after hours on a limited basis

§ Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude

§ Excellent communication skills

• Advanced knowledge of system vulnerabilities and security issues
  
• Any certifications like MCSA/MCP
