Job Description

• Responsible for executing Transaction Services (Financial Due Diligence) projects - Buy-side, sell-side or carve out
  
• Delivering high quality projects while adhering to the project timeline and budget
  Identifying (and/or assisting) potential engagement related risks and opportunities and escalating it on a timely basis with the engagement team
  
• Establishing strong relationship with the engagement team
  Identifying potential areas for growth and improvement during the engagement and day to day operations of the team
  
• Assisting Managers, Assistant Managers, Seniors and Peers in initiating and developing new initiatives and processes
• Continuously strive towards exceeding client and engagement team expectations
  
• Work on increasingly complex assignments and enhance knowledge of financial statements analysis, KPIs, building databook
  Understand business and industry issues / trends and identifying areas requiring improvement in the clients business processes
  
• Develop proficiency in data analysis and validation
  Develop proficiency in excel and large volumes of data
  Ensure compliance with engagement plans and internal quality and risk management procedures
  
• Demonstrate an application and solution-based approach to problem solving technique
  Manage engagement budgets and support Senior Associates, Assistant
• Managers and Managers in developing marketing collaterals, business proposals and new solution / methodology development
  Develop strong working relationships with engagement team
  
• Contribute to knowledge management sessions within the practice
• Understanding of Financial Statements, trial balances, accounting concepts and practices
  
• Understanding of the concept of Mergers and Acquisitions and value consideration associated with transactions
  Awareness of concepts like EBITDA, Working Capital, Capital Expenditure
  
• Understanding of different valuation methods (e.g. DCF, EBITDA multiple, LBO etc.)
  
• Understanding of ratios and margins and their importance (e.g. DIO, DSO, DPO, Contribution margin etc.)
  Team player and effective communication skills
  
• Effective time and project management skills
  Proficiency in MS-Office
  Professional Experience / Qualifications
  
• Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
  Certification/license such as CPA or CFA, and valuation credentials such as CVA, ABV, AVA or ASA preferred.
  
• Accounting, finance, and economics knowledge; proficiency in US GAAP preferred.
