Job Purpose & Scope

To drive Specific Key Accounts in South & East and establish Bajaj offering as the most dependable, technically advanced yet competitive solution to address customer concern with value added service for long term benefits. This role is responsible to drive revenue from Key accounts.

Major Areas of Responsibilities & Authorities


  • Mapping & Strategizing the segment assigned across Geographies & Engage in Reach & extraction of Revenues from those accounts
  • Should be very strong in Mapping of each Segment /Sub-segment to ensure Reach/ Extraction & building Strong funnel pipeline to support Rolling forecast in revenue generation for the segment Assigned.
  • Should be strong in relation building with key stakeholders
  • Frame strategies to increase Share of Wallet from assigned sub segments across geographies.
  • Formulate core strategies from HPLS (High Potential Low Share) sub segments and drive it for all types of Industries and Indoor Lighting segment
  • Design Engagement programs for Strategic accounts involving different stake holders internally.
  • Drive area/region wise sales revenue budget

  • Driving Specification Sales in Key accounts
  • To get engage self in Driving the signature range of products in BEL Illuminations product portfolio to create edge over competition
  • Creating marquee projects for the segment and motivating the other members in driving to create unique Case studies with the completed projects – including customer testimonials etc.

  • Customer Satisfaction & Profitability
  • Forecasting from the funnel conversion to improve on the delivery timelines to support customer requirements
  • Ensuring accurate forecast and no addition in FG stocks

  • Team Handling
  • Should have experience to handle & lead team of region/ at national level
  • Motivate & drive the team of KAMs to deliver performance, drive discipline on quality of sales

Qualification: Indicate necessary qualification

Essential : Degree in Engineering in Electrical

Desirable : MBA Marketing

Experience: Market knowledge to frame strategy, competitor product knowledge & assessment of customer requirement to offer right solution

13-15 years of experience in any industry handling electrical equipment (Most preferable – Lighting,/Highmast & Pole/ Switchgear / cable / LT panel will be added advantage)

At least 3 years of Key Account Role in the segment with experience in handling team/ Complex projects.

Desirable: Complete Exposure in project sale

Other Requirements :

Should be physically fit to travel within assigned territory

Should have good market feedback.
