Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant -ETL/Informatica
In this role, you will be responsible for crafting clean, functional code that flawlessly suits the needs of the company. you would be part of development and responsible for running end to end ETL projects and Hadoop Data Lake Projects. You will be responsible for ensuring the data availability in client owned or accessible systems. Using Agile Methodology and should have an end-to-end understanding of business use cases, to transform them into an effective and strategic solution. Work with business people to have a real time understanding of business problem and, craft the solution which really fits into customer needs.
Responsibilities

• Grow and develop diverse engineering team by providing technical and professional guidance.


• Lead system design and development.


• Partner with internal technology teams on Proof Of Concepts.


• Solve complex engineering problems, database recon, and quality control.


• Understand business processes, bigger picture and core ideas behind the developed software.


• Define engineering guidelines and quality control pipeline perform code reviews.


• Partner with business and technical stakeholders.


• Advocate and advance toward cutting edge engineering practices.


• Apply Agile development best practices and ceremonies.

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E/ MCA


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred qualifications

• 5+ years of building distributed systems using modern programming languages such as Python, Spark, Java.


• 5+ years of experience in Unix/Linux scripting.


• 3+ years of hands-on experience with one of the ETL tools such as Informatica, DataStage, Azure Data Factory.


• Hands on experience of working on at least two different RDBMS systems (e.g. Sybase, DB2, Teradata, Oracle, etc).


• Excellent communication and presentation skills.


• Demonstrated ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate and to manage stakeholder&rsquos expectation.


• In depth understanding and experience in data warehouse and architecture design (logical and physical design).


• Experience in running development in Agile framework.
