Job Description

Responsibilities:

· Conducting defect triage meetings providing details about the defects to the team;

· Writing test cases, executing tests, and recording the results;

· Responsible for all aspects of quality assurance manual testing;

· Monitoring and debugging issues in both staging and production environments;

· Manual testing of front-end, API, and back-end layers;

· Building and executing detailed test plans from functional requirements;

· Accurate and concise bug reports.

Requirements:

· An ability to work independently across multiple projects, and to meet deadlines;

· An ability to rapidly grasp and apply complex business and technical concepts;

· Entrepreneurial in your approach and able to work with minimal supervision;

· 3-5 years of quality testing experience required;

· Ability to communicate easily with a diverse group of people;

· Must have a sound understanding of the software development lifecycle;

· Detail and project-oriented with a focus on quality and passion in the work at hand;

· Postgres/MySQL db testing experience;

· CSS, HTML, JavaScript front-end testing experience;

· 2+ years manual testing large-scale web applications;

· Expert with JIRA or similar bug tracking tool;

· Experience testing REST APIs;

· Unix shell basics;
