Ø QUALIFICATION:
· B.E or Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering
Ø EXPERIENCE:
· 5 - 8 years of Experience in PLC/HMI/Drive software programming & Extensive Experience in a similar role ideally within SPM/OEM machine Manufacturing or similar industry
· Good Hands on Expertise in All Automation Softwares with respect to Major Automation Product supplier Preferably Siemens, Mitsubishi, Rockwell etc...

CAPABILITIESÂ
· Expertise in Understanding of PLC program documentation - System Architecture, Input/output mapping, Program Flow charts
· In depth knowledge and experience of PLC Programs & Softwares in Ladder, FBD and SCL Language, HMI visualization programs, Drive Program software, etc.,
· Understanding Capabilities of all automation communication protocols like RS232/RS485, Profibus, Profinet, and write communication protocol instruction to establish communication between PLC and other accessories for Read/Write data as per application requirement.
· Understanding of Electrical design work including Electrical Hardware Design, Electrical line diagram, Integration of Control system, writing of automation system & Application integration of PLC Programming, design verification testing, as required.
· Understanding of Electrical Hardware selection like Switchgears, Proximity Sensors, Analog & digital transducers, Power Supplies, Power, Control & Signal cables, Automation Product - PLC, HMI, Input/output modules, VFD, Servo Drives, Induction motors & Servo motors etc.,
· Comfortable with hands-on engineering and possess strong knowledge of production processes
· Responsible for handling On-site activity (Machine commissioning, troubleshooting) as required.

Ø ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Responsible for leading a design team together with the development team to ensure the delivery of new designs from the concept stage till final execution.
· Drive creative thinking, ensure customer needs are considered and collaborate with the operations team to ensure products are designed for efficient manufacture.
· Deliver the agreed engineering objectives established in the Annual Operating Plan and considering the organization longer-term strategy road map.
· Work on multiple major projects requiring innovative solutions that advance the technical field
· Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice engineering vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance
· Ability to capture and specify the design requirements and the development and validation needed to deliver successful systems, products and components to meet/exceed the customer specifications
· Provide support to production to improve lead times
· Improve reliability performance to reduce or eliminate warrantable issues in the field
· Identify and implement design improvements (functionality, cost, design for manufacture
· Motivate and coach the team to operational success
· Monitor the completion of tasks and ensure good performance and record on appropriate systems
· Provide technical expertise to the team
· Assist Senior Management in ensuring effective relationships with client businesses through maintaining an appropriate technical interface between engineering design and customers.
