For further information, please visit www.brambles.com. Function/Department : Supply Chain Position Title* & Location : Associate Manager – Plant Operations, Bangalore Position Purpose : The Plant Manager will have overall responsibility for equipment processing activities for the Plant/s under his/her control. The incumbent is responsible to develop and manage relationships with all 3rd party service providers as well as customers where onsite activities occur within their area of responsibility Major/Key Accountabilities : Manage and assist 3rd Party Service Providers through Service Level Agreement stipulations and requirements. (SLA’s) Effectively develop 3rd party relationships with a continuous focus on reducing costs through cooperative initiatives and amicable business negotiations. Ensure 3rd party compliance to all CHEP Operational SOP’s as well as statuary requirements which includes FIEN Risk external perception survey, etc Develop, implement and manage processes to drive efficiencies and cost reductions. Promote and drive a culture of Zero Harm. Responsible for the management and control of all hire stock and raw material. Develop and implement quality systems to ensure customer quality standards are met. Challenges/ Problem Solving :

• Dealing directly with customers / working on customer TPM sites.
• Maintain high level of customer satisfaction
• System driven reporting & Data accuracy
• Stock audit accuracy for highly proliferated SKUs
• 3PL Performance management

Qualifications : Essential Qualifications Bachelors in Operations/Supply Chain or related field Desirable Qualifications : B Tech/ BE – Mechanical Six Sigma Certified Experience :

• 5+ years in a plant supervisory role in an engineering or manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with private fleet management/transportation is helpful
• Strong customer focus orientation
• Expert people management capability including non-exempt production workforce
• Demonstrated success in delivering strong employee relations
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally
• Experience managing safety performance and programs
• Understanding of supply chain practices and metrics

Skills and Knowledge :

• Results driven
• Sound business and commercial acumen.
• Computer literacy (SAP, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Assertive with good communication, organisational and negotiation skills.
• Sound people management with extensive knowledge of Industrial Relations.
• Good knowledge of Safety legislation and procedures is essential.
