Function :

Role profile :

Ensure achieving the production as per the sales team requirement
Planning the Mould production & their supply.
Oversee the production process, drawing up a production schedule
Ensure that the production is cost effective
Decide what resources are required for achieving required production.
Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed.
Be responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment. Monitor product standards and implement quality-control programmes.
Liaise among different departments.
Work with managers to implement the company policies and goals.
Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed.
Supervise and motivate a team of workers.
Productivity Improvement.
He will be responsible for preparation of production schedule in consultation with Plant Head on daily basis.
To supervise and monitor material supply flow and identify any shortage or bottlenecks in usage.
To identify and resolve issues relating to inventory of materials required for production.
To forecast marketing challenges based on competitive analysis and industry trends.
To coordinate with all HODs viz., casting , moulding ,glazing , SQC etc. for updating the production process and report to plant head.
To coordinate with sales team to understand the sales requirements time to time to ensure zero sales loss .
To ensure minimize then cost of production and benchmark for the same.
To ensure incorporating guideline to all HODs / Section about cost saving activities on monthly basis on different parameters and submit to management.
To ensure corrective and preventive measures to ensure good product quality for zero percent complaint in consultation with QC department.
To produce MIS reports and report to plant head .
Any other assignment allotted to you from time to time.

Skills :

Must possess 10 - 20 years of experience in Production planning department in any reputed sanitary ware industry.
Planning and organization skills to be able run and monitor the production process; the capacity to grasp concepts easily.
Attentions to detail to ensure high levels of product quality.
The ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with your team, managers.
The ability to work under pressure and motivate others to meet tight deadlines.
The ability to work in a logical, systematic manner.

Qualifications :

Any Degree / Diploma in Ceramic Technology

Experience :

Must possess 10 - 20 years of experience in Production planning department in any reputed sanitary ware industry.
