The role of Senior Marketing Specialist will be to analyze the industries, markets, products data and to help deliver high marketing ROI through 1:1, 1:Few, and 1:Many ABM. The marketer will be working closely with the Marketing Leadership team to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and strategies and help build actionable insights by gathering data about consumers, competitors, and market conditions. She/He will be working on using statistical software, CRM, and Marketing automation tools to analyze data related to a particular campaign, product or service and help preparing reports for internal business review meetings.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Defining data collection requirements for overall marketing performance: Work with field marketing to understand the different data to be monitored for continuously improving performance of 1:1 ABM, 1:Few ABM, and 1:Many ABM. Work with the marketing execution to help gather the required data
Industry/Market/Product analysis for realizing short and long term opportunities: Work with 3rd party vendors to study market and industry trends to provide data to marketing to build targeted campaigns for uncovering both the short and long term sales opportunities. Understanding of data levers that drive demand for simulation and building targeted campaigns by linking demand generation data to sales opportunities clearly outlining the product, industry, and the market to be targeted
Improving marketing RoI by analyzing marketing tactics outcome: Work with 3rd party vendors, digital marketing team, and global privacy team to help collect the right data, analyze the impact, and develop actionable insights and plan to further improve the marketing tactics. Regularly monitor targeted goals for awareness, relationship building, opportunities creation, account penetration, to help take corrective actions and improve marketing effectiveness and efficiency.
Researching competitors to help deliver differentiated messaging: Work with 3rd party vendors to analyze competitors footprint in marketing, analyze the data, and develop action plan to execute campaigns that will deliver differentiated messaging that will resonate with the industry/market.
Drive marketing excellence by working with the sales, operations, and technical team to understand business impact: Collaborate with internal team to discuss data, understand business impact by analyzing opportunities, long-term road map, product/market/industry focus, and influence marketing, sales, and technical focus
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience:
Bachelor in Engineering (Mechanical/Aerospace/Electronics) and MBA from Tier1/2 institute
Between 6-10 years of experience in B2B marketing of software, Hi-tech products or B2B offerings.
Should have experience of sales force cloud marketing tool or a similar tool.
Should have demonstrated understanding business data and deriving insights to build actional plan for marketing
Understanding of B2B buying process, challenges and success factors.
Analytical orientation, attention to details, ability to work in a cross-functional team, strong customer focus, business acumen is essential. Ability to understand ANSYS technical offering and to develop strategies to realize opportunities through the offering.
Ability to quickly analyze data, spot trends, and derive meaningful insights that would help improve action plans to deliver better outcome.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Experience in B2B industry. MBA from Tier-1/2 institute
Ability to travel upto 25 PERCENT
