Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Planning, implementing and managing proposed recommendations and projects.
• Monitoring and reporting on projects.
• Supporting and guiding senior executive decision-making processes.
• Knowledge of various financial structures
• The Strategy Manager is further tasked with the development of strategic threat identification and evaluation processes as well as overseeing their adoption across the business
• Develop an understanding of the existing business (including products/services, customers, competitors, the overall market and trends) through careful research and analysis
• Understand how major stakeholders are thinking about near-term growth, generally and in reference to specific growth initiatives, through interviews with these stakeholders
• Review research reports and conduct primary research to hone in on ideal buyer type and assess customer demand for the company's existing products and services
• Map out direct and indirect competitors, including potential future competitors, for existing and potential revenue channels
• Accurate forecasting of pipeline and revenue from potential businesses on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• Collect data on consumers, competitors and market place and consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentations
• Compile and analyze statistical data using modern and traditional methods to collect it
• Perform valid and reliable market research SWOT analysis
• Interpret data, formulate reports and make recommendations
• Use online market research and catalogue findings to databases
• Provide competitive analysis on various companies market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales and methods of operation
• Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties researches and implement best practices
• Support development of long-term organizational strategy in building a detailed financial modeling & analysis showing all of the assumptions, drivers for the next 5 years, accounting for a conservative case, and aggressive case
• Assessing market trends and competitors to understand how major stakeholders are thinking
• Presenting findings, projections and recommended actions.
• Help in go-to-market strategy

• Propose strategies for growth basis strengths & potential of the business.
• Networked with the top management across businesses globally to understand their requirement from Chairman & provide best solutions in consultation.
• Work closely with all the business heads to understand the current status and plans to improvise their respective businesses
• Assist in driving strategic programs with different business verticals across geographies
• Perform analytics and generate various reports/presentations for chairman and provide them insight of overall business expectations on timely basis
• Do research and maintain updates on the competitors (existing and upcoming) current/future strategies, detailed financial summaries to understand the market to ensure that we remain ahead of our competitors
• Analyzing, investigating and explaining key movements and trends of P&L lines and recommend required changes/strategies/ plans
• Keep a track and provide insight on business productivity /efficiency projects driven by each business
• Studying the various reports and sharing key insights like internal audit reports, legal reports, HR reports etc
• Industry alliance - Identify useful & strategic conferences & networking opportunities.
• Highlight important articles of the leading publications, share relevant updates and news articles periodically which may add value in our business strategies
