Specialist SA, Networking role is within AWS Solution Architecture Team.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field of study OR 8+ years of professional work experience
* 8+ years within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
* 5+ years of experience in networking infrastructure, telecommunications or other core infrastructure role
* Experience in a customer-facing, sales aligned role, presenting to small and large audiences
* Hands-on technical expertise in Networking design, implementation, integration, and/or deployment
* Working knowledge of cloud technologies
* Working knowledge of Networking tools and processes
* Deep knowledge of IPv4 and IPv6 protocols and standards
* Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
* Experience speaking publicly in front of large audiences
* Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations and virtual teams
* Ability to travel as required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* In addition to broad technical depth expertise in Networking, relevant industry certifications (CCIE, CCNP etc. )
* AWS Certifications, e.g. AWS Solutions Architect Professional, AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty
* Intermediate or advanced experience architecting/securing solutions built on AWS
* Hands-on technical expertise in building scripts, tools, or methodologies that enhance customers solutions
* Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical matters clearly and concisely orally and in writing
* Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
* Experience working with IT leadership to articulate Networking and connectivity strategies and plans
