Job Description

Would be a team management role responsible for end-to-end management of BI Modelling & Solutions

Would act as an SME/consultant for BI Engineering for all Data & BI solutions across the organization.

10+ years of overall in IT with experience in Data warehouse, ETL, BI projects is desired.

Manage the BI Engineering Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement solutions.

Manage cross functional teams including vendor teams and ensure successful delivery of solutions.

Experience in dashboard building in Looker and with LookML build from scratch experience

Working knowledge of scripting languages to allow scheduling of BI dashboards

SQL Expert: to be good at working on the development side of things in Looker need to have an advanced understanding of SQL

Building dashboards based on a wireframe defined by business user (Looker visualization)

Creating new dimensions or measures based off data that is already available in Looker (LookML)

Creating aggregate tables in Looker development to address speed issues on dashboards (LookML)

Create drilling/linking to enable action based on reporting (LookML and visualization)

Expertise in working complex SQL datasets.

Experience in BI development using other visualization tools specifically Power BI, Tableau, Hyperion is desired.

Experience in Snowflake Cloud Warehouse would be an added advantage.

Knowledge in DB technologies like SQL Server, AWS S3 Data Lake.

Experience working in UNIX/Linux environment.

Knowledge of ML/AI technologies would be an added advantage.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to manage CXOs and Business heads.
