Job Description
The incumbent is primarily responsible for follow up on the development, management, implementation and monitoring of the Quality Management System to safely execute commission and hand over the relevant Project on schedule by adherence to the budget and specifications in a way that fulfills the Projects policy, quality system and procedures as per client requirements. The candidate should have handled high rise commercial as well as residential Projects.
1. Formulate & Implement Quality Systems in the company.
2. Review the process of construction to ensure that all QA/QC practices are followed at the Project site
3. Prepare material testing check list, maintaining cube register, material sampling register, water proofing register, rejected material register, slump register, etc.
4. Materials inward, testing and presenting concrete reports.
5. Material testing and Verification of testing of regular construction material, Mix design, Mix Design Concrete Mix Trial and Mix Design correction and documentation, NDT testing and documentation.
6. Quality Control of Electrical and HVAC.
7. Design of shuttering & staging.
8. Various material testing including sieve analysis, silt test, impact and crushing value of aggregate, etc.
9. Conduct various cement, steel, brick test like that initial and final setting time, consistency & strength etc.
10. Checking brick work, plastering, water proofing etc.
11. To ensure procurement of raw materials of agreed quality and maintain inventory as per norms
12. To ensure compliance to usage of raw materials from only approved sources
13. To ensure adequate/ all the resources are available as per norms including manpower
14. To ensure corrective actions are taken for customer complaints.
15. Documentation of all QA/QC activities as per frequency and acceptable criteria.
16. To ensure all the storage and handling is done as per norms
17. Preparing monthly Quality Report.
18. Coordination and review of third party inspections and material testing.
19. MIS and Reporting as per formats and requirements.
