Packaging Production Manager – Pune, India
TMS Global are a wholly owned subsidiary of DS Smith PLC, a FTSE100 listed multi-national packaging and display manufacturing business. TMS Global specialise in the outsourcing of retail display, print and packaging and are active in 97 markets globally.
Due to significant expansion in our APAC region, we are looking for a Regional Packaging Production Manager with extensive experience of industrial Packaging, to join us on a permanent basis and to be based out of Pune, in a remote role with some travel to visit clients required when things return back to normal.
As Packaging Production Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of our third-party suppliers and making sure that daily orders flow, transportation timing and KPI’s are delivered against. You will be accountable for managing production requirements from a technical point of view, so you will need to be good with industrial packaging design, a high level of technical understanding and production delivery/supply chain
We are looking for someone who has a strong Packaging Production background from either Manufacturing or Managed services, as long as you have experience of technical Industrial Packaging Production within electronics, automotive, FMCG industries or even Pharma and Food and Beverages then this could be a great fit for you. As part of this role, you will be responsible for supporting technical related needs during new projects, client development and new client implementations and as such will be responsible for building a superstar team to help support and deliver growth in the near future.
Skills and attributes for success
- Fluent English, spoken and written alongside language skills for this region.
- Experience within Industrial packaging manufacturing sector is essential.
- Experience of industrial packaging across any of these industries: Electronics, automotive, FMCG, Pharma or Food and Beverage.
- Ideally educated within Packaging, Engineering or material field.
