Job Description

• Conduct Process Safety study
• Sizing and calculation of Process safety devices
• Preparing data sheets for Process safety devices
• Defining interlocks for instrumental process safety devices
• Vendor co-ordination
• Inter discipline co-ordination Preparation of all kinds of process engineering deliverables
• Development of PFD and P&ID's
• Perform Process engineering calculations such as Mass & Energy balances, process / utility piping hydraulic calculations, etc.
• Perform calculations related to process equipment sizing & selection
• Preparation of process operation sequence logic and interlocks systems for chemical plant.
• Preparation of specification datasheets of chemical process equipment, utility systems & ETP systems.
• Interface with Leads of other departments to reflect the as-on-date input from other departments, as applicable.
• Experience of working in process engineering activities in any of the industries such as
• Oil & Gas, Petro Chemical.
• Hands-on experience working on process calculations related to heat transfer is a must.
• Knowledge of calculations related to compressible fluid - Newtonian fluids and non-Newtonian fluids and incompressible fluids is a must.
• Knowledge on process design of utility systems for chemical plants.
