Job Description
Designation: Procurement Engineer / Purchase Executive
Location: Trichy.
Qualification: B.E or B.Tech Engg Degree
Salary: 22-25K/Per month.
Industry: Manufacturing.
Experience: 3 to 5 Years in Purchasing - Engineering Procurement, SCM, preferably in any Tier 2 or 3 Manufacturing /Engineering Industry.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Material Planning and Procurement.
2. Ensure strong Supply chain management.
3. Negotiate Prices and Terms with Vendors, Suppliers and Freight Forwarders
4. Monitor Supplier Performance on their Capabilities to meet our Quality and Delivery requirements, Support on Inventory management and Warehouse Monitoring
Basic Responsibilities:
1. Solid Experience in Purchase and Procurement with Contract and Supplier Management.
2. Logistics Organising and Coordination for In -bound and Outbound logistics .
3. Monitor and update Purchase & Procurement process at company level and Compliance to audit .
4. Establishing all SOP's for the Functional Activities.
5. Cost Saving Initiative year over Year thru Strategic approach .
6. Alternative Supplier Base/Vendor Development.
7. Statistical and Analytical study to be conducted periodically on the Supplier Base. New Systems Development and implementation. Adhering to Best Standards and Practices in Purchase and Procurement domain.
