Job in Coimbatore for Production Manager

Job Description

Dear Prospective Candidtes,We are looking for a Dynamic Production Manager for Furniture industry as per below JD.

• Should be a Mechanical Graduate with 10+ years experience in Production ( Out of which 2-3 year Maintenance exposure will be added advantage)
• Should have exposure in XL Sheet, AutoCAD, and SAP End-user (Able to Raise Material Indents, Production orders generation and confirmation in SAP )
• Responsible to make Machine loading plans in line with the Project Site delivery Schedule, planning Manpower, and ensuring Material availability (Machine Spares, Consumables, etc. ).
• Should have Product knowledge on wood processing and Ensure Optimum day-to-day Production quantities
• Ensure Shop floor discipline and stay up to date with Best Manufacturing Practices
• Monitoring of Product Quality at every stage till Final Packing.
• Tools life monitoring and New Tooling / Machine Requirement raising and to meet the production requirements
• Focus on Safety Precautions in Place n ensure Preventive maintenance / AMC Follow-ups
• Identifying critical skills in carpentry, metal, and paint departments.
• Developing training strategies for freshers.
• Labor management, furniture making & fixing on-site as per drawing & details.
• Ability to relate to Design tech packs and explain to production.
• Review technical product call-outs and inform to the Design team of alternative options.
• Coordinate with the Production team to resolve production issues while execution.
• Sample review, assessment, and dispatch.
