The Manager, R&D is able to manage multiple products. S/he should have professional qualifications with extensive work experience and thought leadership in multiple areas of specialization. S/he is able to propose product development strategies, keeps abreast of technology and manages delivery, quality, cost and recruitment of the project. Has the ability to independently evaluate, choose and implement processes.

• Reviews pioneering concepts and principles.
• Integrates expert knowledge of own discipline(s) with extensive knowledge of other disciplines in order to develop organizational roadmap and strategy.
• Guides top management in all organization wide interventions.
• Participates in / leads global forums and reviews white papers created by lower-level employees. Authorizes external material to be published by organization.
• Is responsible for capability development of the organization.
• The role would offer expertise cutting across the organization globally and would make strategic decisions which will directly impact the organization.
• Complete responsibility to handle individual contributors in the organization. Responsibility to groom future leaders and chart the long-term path for the organization
• Course of action guided by corporate goals and strategy only.
• Ability to do Project Management, Resource Management, Customer Management, Estimation, Release Planning for multiple products.
• Ability to create motivational and positive culture.

Work Experience (Indicate the approximate years of relevant work experience necessary for this position)

Typically requires a minimum of years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 13+ Years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 8 years' experience; or equivalent experience. Typical range of experience is 13+ Years
